My daughter I stayed in Cleo's cottage for a week. Cleo was a wonderful host, making sure we had everything to make our stay comfortable. The property was absolutely beautiful and the cottage was very clean. Beach supplies were provided which was wonderful to not have to purchase items and leave behind when we went home. Cleo was such a sweetheart we enjoyed talking to her and seeing her beautiful home and her other rental house next door. Cleo even gave us freshly picked gardenia's from her garden. We will definitely visit again next year. Thank you Cleo!

My boyfriend and I stayed for four nights at Cleo’s coconut palm apartment and we loved it! Cleo was there when we checked in to give us lots of tips for restaurants/beaches and show us around the place. She lived next door so we knew she was available if we had any questions or concerns. One of our favorite parts was the backyard, it was like a tropical little oasis! We loved going out there in the mornings to drink coffee and read our books while catching some sun. The apartment was lovely and very clean. We also had access to her bikes and beach equipment which was hugely convenient. We loved walking to downtown fort Meyers at night, the night life was a lot of fun. We would definitely recommend Cleo’s place, thanks for a wonderful visit!

Cleo and Bucky’s cottage is one of those rare finds that has us already anticipating next year’s visit. Green Palm Cottage, aptly named I imagine for the wonderful variety of small and large palms that dominate the grounds, sits hard by the owners’ beautifully maintained home yet still somehow manages to feel pleasantly private - especially true for the enclosed back porch and terrace which are both screened from the neighboring properties by attractive fencing and lush tropical greenery. The front door opens into a sparkling-clean kitchen on the left, with a larger room to the right tastefully decorated with sofa, bed, and very handsome wood furnishings and lamps. The tidy bathroom and generous shower are attractively tiled with towels provided. The overall impression is marvelous and makes one feel right at home. Cleo made us feel immediately welcome and has thought of most everything any guest might want to know, which she has distilled into her “house book” (our term) - an encyclopedic guide and resource to Fort Myers and everything else within a 100 miles radius. It’s a charming cottage, but we also love the attention to detail that Bucky and Cleo provide. If you need a bike, no problem. Beach umbrella? Ditto. A fishing rod? A cooler? Just ask, they have one for you!

We really enjoyed the cozy Queen Palm. The place was very clean with great amenities. Cleo even provides beach chairs, beach blankets, coolers, bicycles, etc. The bed was comfortable, and the yard is just gorgeous with lots of tropical plants. It's very close to downtown Fort Myers in a quiet street that feels safe and walking distance to Publix supermarket. Parking is right in front of the house. It was a bit far from the beaches especially with all the traffic, but the value and hospitality made it worth it. Definitely would stay here again!

This Airbnb has the best location: close to downtown, grocery, restaurants, etc. The house is so cool! Nicely decorated, we were in Coconut Palm upstairs. It was so nicely decorated, very spacious for the two of us, and Cleo had thought of everything. We were most appreciative of the beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, and bikes. Lovely backyard for grilling or eating outside...several private spaces for other guests! A hot tub! We will be back another year, for sure.

Thank you so much for taking care of my parents, Cleo! I'm sure we will all be back and look forward to the next stay. Cleo is the best!! The house and amenities are wonderful, but meeting Cleo is the icing on the cake!! This is our first time staying here and Cleo made us feel right at home. I’m not sure that providing a star or a number of stars would do this listing justice, as we have never encounter a more accommodating environment or hostess. Ron and Tina Ellis
